Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern your use of the motorcycle rental services provided by LytPort Bike Rentals ("we," "us," or "our"). By renting a motorcycle from us, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement. Please read this Agreement carefully before proceeding with your rental.
Rental Eligibility and Requirements
1.1 Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to rent a motorcycle from us.
1.2 License and Experience: You must possess a valid motorcycle driver's license and have the necessary skills and experience to safely operate the rented motorcycle.
1.3 Reservation: Reservations can be made in advance, subject to availability.
1.4 Security Deposit: A security deposit may be required at the time of rental to cover any damages, loss, or additional charges incurred during the rental period. The security deposit will be refunded upon return of the motorcycle in the same condition as rented.
Rental Period
2.1 Duration: The rental period begins at the scheduled pickup time and ends at the scheduled return time specified in the rental agreement at the time of booking.
2.2 Extension: If you wish to extend the rental period, you must contact us in advance and obtain our approval. Additional rental charges may apply for the extended period.
2.3 Late Returns: Late returns may result in additional charges.
Rental Fees and Payment
3.1 Rental Charges: You agree to pay the rental charges, as specified in the rental agreement, which include the base rental fee, additional equipment charges, taxes, and any other applicable charges.
3.2 Payment: Payment is due at the time of rental pickup. We accept cash, UPI and major credit cards.
3.3 Fuel: The motorcycle will be provided with a minimum of 0.5 liters of fuel at the start of the rental period. You are responsible for refueling the motorcycle before returning it. If the motorcycle is returned with less than 0.5 liters of fuel, you will be charged for refueling at the prevailing rate.
Use of the Motorcycle
4.1 Authorized Operators: Only the renter and authorized individuals listed on the rental agreement are permitted to operate the rented motorcycle. All operators must meet the age and license requirements.
4.2 Prohibited Uses: The rented motorcycle must not be used for any of the following purposes:
a) Racing, speed tests, or other competitions
b) Off-road use, unless the motorcycle is specifically designed for such purposes
c) Illegal activities or transportation of illegal substances
d) Towing or pushing other vehicles or objects
e) Use under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any other impairing substances
4.3 Maintenance and Care: You are responsible for maintaining and caring for the motorcycle during the rental period, including regular fueling, checking oil levels, and reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
Liability and Insurance
5.1 Damage or Loss: You are responsible for any loss, damage, or theft of the motorcycle and its accessories during the rental period. You agree to report any accidents, damages, or theft to us immediately.
5.2 Insurance Coverage: The rented motorcycle may be covered by insurance provided by us. The insurance coverage is subject to the terms and conditions of the insurance policy. You may be responsible for deductibles and other costs as outlined in the insurance policy.
5.3 Personal Belongings: We are not responsible for any loss or damage to your personal belongings left in the motorcycle during the rental period.
Limitation of Liability
6.1 Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising out of your use or operation of the rented motorcycle.
6.2 Disclaimer: We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the motorcycle, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or economic loss.
Termination
We reserve the right to terminate this Agreement and repossess the rented motorcycle at any time without prior notice, in the event of any violation of the terms and conditions or misuse of the motorcycle.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Uttarakhand. Any disputes arising out of this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Dehradun.
Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between you and LytPort Bike Rentals regarding the rental of the motorcycle and supersedes all prior agreements, discussions, or understandings, whether oral or written.
Please read this Agreement carefully, and if you have any questions, feel free to contact us before proceeding with your rental. By renting a motorcycle from us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement.
